You, Me and Tea

How are you on this beautiful February Wednesday morning? Today's the day the Tea Time Collection becomes available to everyone! Infuse your time in the craft room with the fun and excitement of creating elegant teapot shaped card creations, perfect for celebrating all of life’s grandest occasions! Decorating becomes quick and EZ with a delightful selection of wonderful tea themed accessories, along with coordinating sentiments, allowing you to design and embellish a fanciful and unique teapot shaped card that is sure to impress friends and loved ones!

Instructions: Ready side fold card measures 7” × 7”. Choose a pattern paper from designer Tea Time paper collection and cut a piece measuring 5.75” × 5.75”. Distress the edges with matching ink and adhere it on ready card base. Cut 2 decorative pieces from white cardstock using Adorn it Pocket Accents die. Glue it on the card base as shown in the picture. Choose a 6” × 6” card panel from the collection and mat it on white cardstock which is 1/8 of an inch bigger from all four sides. Adhere this panel on card using dimensional tape. Cut 2 doily die cuts from white cardstock using Rounded Window Frame Die. Also cut a round piece from designer paper. Mat circle designer paper on big doily die cut. Now Cut both doilies in half and adhere them on card using dimensional tape as shown.

Cut a strip from the designer paper collection measuring 2” ×6”. Adhere it on white cardstock which is 1/8 of an inch bigger from all four sides. Take a piece of vellum paper measuring 3.5"×6”. Tear edges to give distress effect. Glue designer paper strip on it. Mat it on the center of the card using dimensional tape. Stamp images from Tea Time Collection on watercolor paper and paint using zig markers. Cut images with coordinating die. Arrange images on card using dimensional tape. Cut a decorative piece from white cardstock using Intricate Swirl Frames Die. Stamp sentiment using magenta Hue ink on it. Adhere sentiment using dimensional tape. Tie a bow with organza ribbon and glue it as shown.

Stamp Purr-fect Posies flowers using magenta Hue ink and leaves using olive green archival on deluxe flower shaping paper and cut with coordinating die. Paint flowers with magenta Hue and leaves using leaf green ink. Shape them in shaping mold. Pierce the center and add stamens. Arrange flowers and leaves on card as shown. For finished look, apply crystal clear powder on flowers and images using Art glitter clear drying adhesive.
