Worldly Zinnia

Welcome back to my blog. Today I've a card with Zinnia flowers to share. Follow some easy steps and create stunning cards for your friends and family.

Products Used:

Ornate Ovals Die, HCD1-7305

Classic Rose Die, HCD1-7110


Other Products: Smooth White Cardstock, dimensional tape, Hot glue

Instructions: Ready side fold card measures 5.5" × 7.5". First choose a paper from designer paper collection and cut a piece measuring 5.25" × 7.25". Adhere it on ready card base. Cut another piece of designer paper measuring 5" × 6.5" and mat it on white cardstock which is 1/8 of an inch bigger from all four sides. Adhere it on card in tilted manner using dimensional tape.

Cut a thin frame from white cardstock using Eyelet Rectangles Die. Paint it using cactus flower ink and glue it on card as shown. Further cut corners from white cardstock using Elegant Pocket Accents die and glue it on card. Further, cut oval frames from Gold Luxe cardstock and white cardstock using Ornate Ovals die. Stamp sentiment on white oval frame using cactus flower ink and arrange on card using dimensional tape.

For flower, stamp zinnia flower on deluxe flower shaping paper using cactus flower ink and cut with coordinating dies. Paint flowers using magenta hue and cactus flower ink and shape using flower shaping mold. Arrange flowers and add micro pearls in the center of flower using hot melted glue. Stamp classic rose leaves using fern green ink and cut with coordinating die. Paint leaves using same ink and shape using flower shaping mold. Arrange flowers and leaves on card in desired manner and glue them using hot glue. For finished look, apply glitter using designer clear dries adhesive.
