Summer's Garden Zinnia

How's your week going? Today's the day the Summer's Garden Collection becomes available to everyone! Are you wanting to create life-like, breathtaking summer flowers, but struggle to find the right size or selection? Create large and lifelike florals, for those times when a little blossom just won’t do. From beginner to advanced crafters, the Summer’s Garden Collection is a one-size-fits-all flowershaping collection! Here is my first take with this collection.

Other Products: Smooth White Cardstock, dimensional tape, Distress Ink pads (Tattered Rose, Sugar Spun), Hot glue

Instructions: Ready side fold card measures 7"×7". First cut card mat from designer paper collection measuring 6.75" × 6.75”. Distress the edges of mat with matching ink and adhere it on ready card base. Cut another card mat from designer paper collection, distress edges and adhere it on card using dimensional tape. Cut white cardstock and designer paper using Decorative Circle Frames die cut, it into half and glue it as shown in the picture. Further, cut a piece of white cardstock measuring 3.5" × 6.5" and designer paper measuring 3.25" × 6.5". Mat it on the center of the card.

Cut 2 more strips of designer paper measuring 1.5" × 6.5" and 1.25" × 6.5". Cut borders from white cardstock using Sweetheart border die and arrange them on card as shown in the picture using dimensional tape. Cut a window scene from designer paper using Eyelet circle die and 2 frames from white cardstock. Arrange on the center of card using dimensional tape. Cut a sentiment strip from designer paper and stamp sentiment using cactus flower ink. Glue it on white cardstock strip and adhere it on card using dimensional tape.

For flowers, stamp zinnia flower on deluxe flower shaping paper using pink peony and cut with coordinating dies. Paint flowers using tattered rose and sugar spun ink. Slightly apply magenta hue ink. Shape flowers using shaping mold. Layer flowers and add micro pearls in the center using hot glue. Stamp Leafy Accents leaves on deluxe flower shaping paper using fern green ink and cut with coordinating dies Paint leaves with same ink and shape using shaping mold. Arrange flowers and leaves on card in desired manner and glue them using hot glue. For finished look apply glitter using designer clear drying adhesive.
