Pretty In Pink Birthday

Welcome back to my blog. Today I've a birthday card with Zinnia flowers to share with you.

Instructions: Ready side fold card measures 7” × 7". First choose paper from designer paper collection measuring 6.75" × 6.75", distress edges and mat it on ready card base in tilted manner. Cut an eyelet square from white cardstock and cut it into half diagonally. Choose another paper from designer paper collection measuring 6.5" × 6.5". Glue eyelet square pieces from back side as shown in the picture. Adhere it on card using dimensional tape in tilted manner.

Die cut pattern paper and white cardstock using Heart of Joy Decorative die and arrange them on card as shown in the picture. Cut an eyelet circle from white cardstock and stamp sentiment using cactus flower on it. Glue it on card using dimensional tape. Cut 2 corners from gold luxe cardstock using Swirly Accent Spray die and glue as shown.

For flower, stamp zinnia flower on deluxe flower shaping paper using cactus flower ink and cut with coordinating dies. Paint flowers using magenta hue and cactus flower ink and shape using flower shaping mold. layer flowers and glue using hot glue and add prills using hot melted glue. Stamp leaves using fern green ink and cut with coordinating die. Paint leaves using same ink and shape using shaping mold. Arrange flowers and leaves using hot glue. Tie a bow using organza ribbon and glue it as shown and add a decorative button. For finished look apply Frosting Powder on flowers and leaves using clear dry adhesive.
